Vegas Robaina classicos

This 6½ x 42 cigar was a gift from a friend. He gave this and a few other cigars because I gave him a ride to a herf in Antwerp. As it was a gift, I don’t know the box code but I do believe this cigar had a few years of age on it.
The wrapper is light brown and has some big veins. The wrapper feels like very fine sanding paper. The cigar is box pressed and the construction feels good. The predraw is a bit on the hard side and I can taste a very mild wood flavor. I smell a typical Cuban barnyard smell.
I get a full leather flavor but after half an inch the flavor loses a lot of strength. I also taste some earth after half an inch. After ⅓ the earth becomes the main flavor and both the earth and the leather gain a bit power again. I get a dry feeling in my mouth.
Halfway I still taste earth and leather and some time later I also taste a mild chocolate, but unfortunately the chocolate disappears quickly too. After ⅔ I taste some wood and leather, the earth flavor seems to have gone too.
The smoke time of this cigar is about 75 minutes. I got a nice amount of smoke and a good draw. The burn is pretty straight. This cigar is medium bodied and medium flavored. The ash isn’t very firm and has some light colored parts and some dark colored parts.
Would I buy this cigar again? No, don’t get me wrong, it is a good cigar but a bit too one dimensional for me.
