What do i know about this cigar? Nothing, except that it’s a private label for a Portuguese company that imports cigars to Portugal and that it’s made by Plasencia, who makes a lot of cigars for a lot of people.
The cigar looks cute, it’s small, it’s pretty, the finish is nice with a pretty dark and smooth wrapper. Even though the size is small, the aroma isn’t, the cigar has a strong stable aroma. The construction is a bit spongy. The predraw is fine, I taste some sweet raisin and some pepper. Too bad about the cheap looking simple band, this cigar deserves better and the score for appearance would have been higher with a classy band.
The cigar starts with a full and strong coffee flavor with some pepper, soon accompanied by wood and spices, I’m surprised by this start, pleasantly surprised I might add.
After a centimeter the cigar gets more pungent, I taste cayenne pepper, although the sharp edges fade away soon. The flavors turn to wood and spices but halfway the pepper return. After that it’s more of the same, only the spices like cinnamon, come and go. There is not much development, unfortunately.
The draw is fine and I get a decent amount of full thick smoke. The burn needed a touch up or two. The ash is frayed, light gray and unfortunately not firm. This small cigar, a size I like, lasted me for an hour.
Would I buy this cigar again? No, the start was good but the finish
Smoke & ash: 7
Aroma first part: 8
Aroma second part: 7
Aroma third part: 6
